Dr. Neelabh did his M.B.B.S. in 1990 from Patna Medical College, Patna,
India, previously known as Prince of Wales Medical College. He finished
his D. Orth. In 1995 from King George Medical College, Lucknow, India.
He did his D.N.B. (Ortho) from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, India,
from 1995- 1997. He did his registrarship in orthopaedics from Sir Ganga
Ram Hospital, New Delhi, India, from 1998- 2001. Then he joined Dr. S.P.
Mandal, the eminent Orthopaedic Surgeon, as the clinical associate. He
did his fellowship in the Spinal Surgery from Bordeaux, France, under
the expert guidance of Dr. Jean Destandau in 2004.
He has been trained in the joint replacement surgery by the eminent
masters of the joint replacement surgeries, eg. Dr. P. S. Maini, Ex-
head of Department, Rohtak Medical College, Rohtak, and Dr. R. Bhalla,
Ex- head of Department, Christian Medical College, Ludhiana. He still
keeps on attending various workshops abroad to keep himself abreast with
the latest advances in the surgeries. His area of expertise are joint
replacement surgeries, like hip, knee, shoulder, etc. replacements,
spinal surgeries and difficult fractures.
